more of the same

Joe is feeling about the same today. Yesterday was particularly hard. Pixel died and we had to let Joe know. He seemed to take it pretty well since he had known that she was ill and not doing well. There is really not much to say. Please post your comments to Joe so he will know that you are out there. Thanks, his mom.

Hey Joe -- Just wanted to say I'm really sorry to hear about Pixel. That's just so crappy. Hang in there...I'll be by to visit you again this weekend -- I'm going to try to dig up some good gossip for you in the meantime. :-)

Joe & all, I am very sad to hear about Pixel. We have three kittens (now 4 years old) left from two litters we were fostering that were devastated by FIP. (That is why we have five (6 now) cats...I got too attached during the quarentine period. And although these cats made it through the initial two year period the disease can reoccur at any time (usually times of stress) and my two other cats have also now been exposed. So we try not to think about it, but I figure you love them while you have them and when they are gone you honor them by finding another that desperately needs a friend. Best wishes. See you soon, love, Carol Whitcomb

Sorry about Pixel, my friend. Please know that someone in Vanuatu is thinking about you and putting nothing but good thoughts your way. I miss you, my friend.

Hey Joe, I've been keeping up with your progress via the blog. Every time I get a chance to come up and visit, you get a shot of something and can't have visitors for a while. I hope you are keeping your spirits up. Jennell and I have you in our thoughts and you'll turn the corner soon, I know it. We want to come and visit you sometime, hopefully soon. Stay strong!

Brandon and Jennell
