low

Joe's numbers are still low (white blood cells around 1.1 and platelets at 21), and his oncologist is concerned. He thought that they would be going back up by now, so he's thinking about doing another bone marrow biopsy to see if the chemo he's gotten so far is doing anything. If it is working, they might just have to go ahead and do the next round of chemo without waiting for his numbers to get higher. If it's not working, they might have to pump up the volume as it were. I think if they're gonna do more chemo either way, then why do the biopsy, but I don't have a fancy degree, so what do I know?

We'll be there soon Joey, hang in there! I hope the throwing up will go away soon 'cause we wanna bring you our homemade Thai rice soup and don't want you to throw it all up (> _<)
I guess you are not going to get my precious blood any more, I called the blood care center and they told me that you won't get to use my blood directly and they are going to credit you ONLY ten bucks for my blood donation!!!! I would have to say that I value my blood very highly and would estimate its worth roughly at $5,000/ fl. oz.!
So then helping you out with cash would definitely be of a better help than doing the blood credit thingy~ so disappointed (¡_¡)

We think about you every day, checking the blog to see what is up! We keep hoping it will be your numbers and YOU! Caleb has been sick two different times now since you have been with respiratory illness so that is why you haven't seen our bright and shiny faces! He is still hacking and sleeping in a recliner so he can breathe. We want so much for you to be up and going. Think happy thoughts and stay encouraged. Try to roll with the punches with the docs!
Gotta go, the cat just wrapped a plastic sack around her neck! Cats are so STRANGE. Take care and love,

Aunt Robin, Uncle Daniel and Caleb

Hey, Joe, hang in there. Roll with the punches. Eye of the tiger. Frankie say relax. I figured if I was going to do cliches, I might as well go all out. I made a delicious flourless chocolate cake/cupcakes that I would be happy to make for you if you are interested any time. We're all pulling for ya! (I don't even know what that one means.) I hope to see you sometime if I can ever stop being sick!! Love you lots, Lize
